Bronze Fonz

Are you looking to massively upgrade the sonic palette of your P bass?  The Bronze Fonz has 2 individual coils wired together to form a humbucking pair for each string.  This arrangement combines power with clarity, while also increasing string to string definition.  Notes are crisp, mids are punchy, and your lows are well defined.

Each coil is accessible via the pins on the backside of the pickup.  This allows you to change wiring setups by simply swapping wiring harness's, or by custom wiring it yourself.  1 wiring harness is supplied with each pickup set.

Filter Preamp Harness:

• This harness gives you 1 hot for each coil, and 1 negative/shield wire.  Use this to plug right into filter based preamps like the Lusithand Double NFP Special MKII.  

Passive Harness:

• This harness wires each pair of coils in each piece in series, and then each piece in parallel.  This has the effect of raising the output high enough to work with passive basses, yet retains a high degree of clarity and punch.

Customizable Harness:

• This harness provides the positive and negative for each coil, and a shield wire for each piece.  If you want to switch between series and parallel with a toggle switch, this is what you want.  Wanna add a filter preamp down the road, you can do that too!
