Collection: Steel Core Series for P Bass Shapes
Our unique Hybrid Steel Series has been designed to combine the warm, thick sound of a steel core, with the modern punch of neodymium! A steel rod is in the core of each pole piece to add the traditional tonal characteristics and is topped with a thin neodymium magnet to bring on the punch. The result is a warm, yet detailed sonic footprint that punches thru any mix. Plus, this design allows us to vary the shape and location of the magnetic field in any of our hybrid series pickups, so customizing the magnetic aperture of a pickup to your specifications is easy!
