Our unique hybrid design combines the vintage sound of alnico, with the modern punch of neodymium that puts you and your tone out front! Our unique design and magnet arrangement places an alnico 5 magnet in the core of each pole piece to add the traditional tonal characteristics and its then topped with a thin neodymium magnet to add punch. The result is a sound that has that vintage growl with extra modern power! Plus, this design allows us to vary the shape and location of the magnetic field in any of our hybrid series pickups, so customizing the magnetic aperture of a pickup to your specifications is easy!
